We're situated just outside Trenton on 55 acres of gently sloping terrain featuring a wide creek and expansive grounds beyond the Big Oak, perfect for exploration. Enjoy stunning sunsets, a clear view of the night sky, the tranquil sounds of the creek, and occasional visits from deer, all contributing to a peaceful retreat. Our property is evolving as we create manicured groves and open pastures for both our farm animals and guests. During rainy spells, expect some mud and occasional sightings of heavy equipment or tractors. Our livestock rotate between our two properties, so they may not always be here at The PARK at Brushy Creek. If you don't see them here, you're welcome to visit our other property across the road with the big green gate. Currently, there is no electricity or Wi-Fi on the property. Lighting is provided by solar power or batteries. Tent sites have access to a water spigot, and there's a Port-o-let nearby. This is rural country living; our neighbors' livestock and dogs may make sounds like bleating, barking, oinking, mooing, neighing, squealing, whinnying, braying, or whining at any time of day or night. We are conveniently located one hour north of Dallas Fort Worth, just 30 minutes from McKinney, Sherman, or Greenville, and within 10 miles of Leonard, Whitewright, and Bonham. Trenton is only five miles away. Several lakes are nearby including Lake Bonham, Lake Texoma, and the new Bois' d Arc Lake. ✨Yurt Adventure Under the Stars ✨

This was a great spot for a quick getaway from the city life! No, you’re not in the middle of a large wooded area so don’t necessarily expect that - it’s on the hosts land that has been cleared out and some trees around but there’s an amazing creek real close by so definitely check that out. The actual campsite is fantastic- large table and two comfy chairs around the fire. The Yurt was really huge inside! And very well maintained and the added touch of lights /decorations and small side tables really made it such a neat place. We brought two battery operated fans for during the night and it kept the Yurt cool and we had a great nights sleep. The Smores basket was a wonderful treat and we enjoyed making a nice fire with the provided wood and fire starters. There’s a water spigot at the campsite which was really handy to have and the port-o-potty right next to camp which was clean. You are “roughing it” slightly without a sink /full bathroom but the amenities she has set up are perfect if you’re willing to go a bit without those luxurious. We definitely plan to come back! A great hidden gem about 45 min from Dallas.

I love the tent camping land is beautiful. I got my car stuck in the mud her husband help me get it out. Perfect for my kids to go explore and play in the creek. Would definitely recommend and return again

Exceptional Host

This is a review only for the host, not the stay as we weren’t able to make it, unfortunately: Steffenie, was extremely communicative and accommodating all throughout our booking, that we forfeited due to car issues before we could make it there. With her friendliness and attentiveness alone, I recommend, and I hope to be able to review her actual site(s) soon!
